1. The Service

PageChecks provides free SEO, AI search, and technical website tools. We may add, change, limit, or remove features at any time, and we don't promise the service will always be available or error-free.

2. Who Can Use It

You must be at least 16, or older if your country requires it. If you use the service for an organisation, you confirm you're allowed to accept these terms for it. You're responsible for making sure your use is lawful where you are.

3. Acceptable Use

• Use the service only for lawful purposes.
• Don't use the service to attack, overload, probe for vulnerabilities in, or get around the security of any website or system.
• Don't disrupt the service, bypass rate limits or access controls, or send automated traffic to it without our written permission.
• Don't scrape, resell, or reproduce the service as your own.
• Don't submit malware, unlawful content, or content that infringes someone else's rights.
• Don't use shared audits or feedback to harass anyone or to publish false or misleading claims.

4. Your Content

You're responsible for what you submit, including URLs, text, and HTML, and you confirm you have the right to submit it. You keep any rights you have in it and let us process it to run the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Websites You Check

When you check a website, our servers request its public pages and identify themselves as PageChecksBot. Results reflect what the site returned at the time and can change. We're not affiliated with the websites people check.

6. Shared Audits

When you share a Technical SEO Audit, you ask us to publish it at a public URL that search engines may index and other sites may embed. Only share audits you're comfortable making public.

The owner of an audited website, or the person who shared the audit, can ask us to remove it using the contact address below. We may also remove or de-index any shared audit at any time.

7. AI-Generated Content

Some results, including shared audit summaries, are written by AI models. They can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date, so check anything important before relying on it.

8. No Professional Advice

Results are general information. They're not legal, compliance, financial, security, or other professional advice.

9. Feedback

If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to you.

10. Intellectual Property

We own the service, including its design, branding, content, and software. You may use it as these terms allow, but you may not copy, modify, or redistribute it except where the law permits.

Other companies' names and trademarks, including those on our comparison pages, belong to their owners. Mentioning them doesn't mean those companies are affiliated with or endorse PageChecks.

11. Third-Party Services and Links

The service relies on third-party providers and links to other websites. We aren't responsible for third-party services or content, and their own terms apply when you use them.

12. Disclaimers

To the extent the law allows, the service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the extent the law allows, PageChecks is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for all claims relating to the service is limited to USD 100.

14. Your Consumer Rights

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or changes rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be excluded, such as the Australian Consumer Law or the consumer laws of the EU, the UK, or the country you live in. Where those laws let us limit our liability rather than exclude it, our liability is limited to supplying the service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again.

15. Indemnity

To the extent the law allows, you agree to cover losses and reasonable costs we incur from claims arising out of your misuse of the service or your breach of these terms. This doesn't apply to consumers where the law prohibits it.

16. Suspension and Termination

We may limit, suspend, or block access to the service at any time, including to protect the service, other users, or third parties, or to comply with the law. You can stop using the service at any time. Sections that by their nature should continue, including those on your content, shared audits, disclaimers, liability, and indemnity, continue to apply.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms. We'll post changes here and update the date at the top, and for material changes we'll give notice on the site before they take effect where we reasonably can. If you keep using the service after changes take effect, you accept the updated terms.

18. Language

These terms are written in English. If we provide a translation, the English version applies where they differ.

19. General

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a term, we haven't waived it. These terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the service.
